DECLARACIÓN DE ARTISTA

​YUNGA, tanto desde el territorio como desde el imaginario, es justamente el encuentro entre dos mundos y la forma en que se relacionan.
​Desde la geografía, es la zona de transición entre los Andes y la Amazonía. Al recorrer diferentes comunidades, busco los objetos cotidianos que se repiten en ellas y que cuentan la historia de cada lugar.
​Desde el imaginario, es el espacio donde las sensaciones, los límites y las ideas se transforman en materia.
​A través de este cruce, mi investigación explora la relación entre sujeto, cuerpo, objeto y territorio, y la manera en que se afectan y conectan entre sí.

ARTIST STATEMENT
​YUNGA, both from the perspective of territory and the imaginary, is precisely the meeting of two worlds and the way in which they relate to one another.
​From a geographical standpoint, it is the transition zone between the Andes and the Amazon. As I travel through different communities, I seek out the everyday objects that recur among them and tell the story of each place.
​From the realm of the imaginary, it is the space where sensations, boundaries, and ideas transform into matter.
​Through this intersection, my research explores the relationship between subject, body, object, and territory, and the ways in which they affect and connect with each other.
